Do you think infidelity is a cause of failed marriages, or a symptom?

It can be both. If you are unhappy and feeling needy for something in your relationship you can be prompted to look for the need to be filled outside of your marriage. However, I know a plethora of married men who will tell you their wives are wonderful, intelligent women and they are blessed to have them in their lives but they enjoy sleeping with other women too much to not cheat on their spouses. If they were to get caught—especially one of them—then it would most likely lead to a divorce.
