Dreaming Of Infidelity but no conscience desire?
My husband is insecure and for years has had dreams where I cheat on him. I have never cheated on him and I do not want anyone else. Lately I have been dreaming that I am cheating on him. It’s not anyone in my (awake) life. What does this mean?
I don’t think this means you have some secret desire to cheat, or that you’re looking for somebody else. Sometimes we just dream what we dream, and there is no big revelation or decoding to be had. My guess is that focusing on these dreams (and your husbands!), or worrying about them, only causes more of them. Don’t worry, keep loving him, and reassure him. I wouldn’t make a big deal of telling him every time you have one of these dreams, either– if you know they’re not representative of your feelings, don’t worry him with them!
