My wife and i have both admitted to infidelity. Two kids and a tumultuous relationship. Can it be saved?

We became pregnant after about a month of knowing each other. We decided to stick it out and it has been a rocky ride. Our relationship has suffered from a lack of communitation on my side and a lack of affection on her side. We have both had affairs, mine being sex based, hers emotional and sexual. We were both attempting to fill the void of what we lacked. Our children are perfect in every sense and deserve to have two full time parents. I believe we still love each other and could over time learn to trust again. We both need to change to make it work, but the question is, is it already too late? Have our decisions been made?

i don’t think it’s too late necessarily…but you two definitely need to get to counseling and talk about why you both were searching for something outside the marriage. sounds like you two jumped into a relationship that you stayed in because of kids and more than likely don’t have good open communication. you two need to decide whether or not you can get past the infidelity and work on it from there. there are no guarantees….you just need to decide if the relationship is worth all the time and hard work it’s going to take to save it. you can be great parents without being married and miserable. good luck xoxo
