Emotional Infidelity Wikipedia

Follow up to another question: emotional affairs- bogus or real?

following up a question about my husband and his ex. ….

One of my advice givers recommended I google emotional affairs and look into it.

http://marriage.about.com/od/infidelity/ss/emotionalaffair.htm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_affair

so my question is:

are emotional affairs a valid concern?

Yes, because if you are married and care about and think about someone of the opposite gender (and confide in them) more than you do your spouse (or talk to them about things of an intimate nature that should only be discussed with your spouse), that emot. affair is at best causing problems in your marriage and probably the relationship with that person taking the place of your marital relationship
