Why do my in laws still talk to my husband’s mistress?

Hi, my brother and sister in law still talk to my husband’s mistress. They knew her before me and were unaware of the relationship between her and my husband. My husband admitted the whole thing, but she denied it. They continue to keep in touch with her. What’s weird is that they were never good friends before, and almost seem to have become better friends since the infidelity came out. Add to this the fact that she was married the whole time. Why do they still talk to her and what can I do about it? I should mention that ever since the cheating came out, they have been quite hostile to me. My husband is caught in between.

first just let me say wow…i can’t believe they’re treating you hostile when he was the one cheating, not you. i wonder if the affair was going on a lot longer then you think? if they are still having a friendship with this “mistress” there has to be some kind of history. it couldn’t be that the first time they heard of her was when he decided to be honest and admit it. is she a friend of the family? i think you should talk to your husband and i give you props that you’re even still calling him your husband after he’s admitted to having a mistress. it just sounds like there’s a lot more to it and it doesn’t sound like its really over. investigate, spy, confront, do what you gotta do to find the truth because i don’t even know how you sleep at night with this on your mind. i wouldn’t be able to, especially if he was still living under the same roof. my heart goes out to people who still wanna try and make a relationship work after cheating because i don’t think i ever could, you’re a lot stonger then most people already and you don’t even see it. follow you’re gut and your instinct as you put the peices of the puzzle together and don’t bite your tongue, you have feelings too and they don’t seem like they’re being acknowledged.
