what is the title to this movie ? (disjointed half-forgotten clues to follow)?

it revolves around a foursome of friends, two of whom are marrying each other. there is an elaborate plan made for the proposal (in a restaurant) and the ring is supposed to be hidden in ice cream while the proposal is posed as the fortune in a fortune cookie. the cookies all get mixed up, all the future in-laws show up at the ‘secret’ restaurant, and the whole thing heads south. meanwhile, the would-be groom continually wonders how far away he could get on ‘just one tank of gas’ while the jilted near-bride paints herself blue after finding out of her suitor’s infidelity with one of the other three. an irate florist figures prominently in a subplot, after two of the friends do nothing to keep him from being ripped off by a little old lady in a walker. sheesh!
