Infidelity Is Normal

Celebrity splits…infidelity…why is everyone ok with it. It’s affecting the real world and ppl we live with
Brad cheated on Jenny to be with Angi. Love her or hate her but Britneys split with Justin -horrible… Jessica and Nick -why?. They may be celebs but many ppl out there approve/dismiss infidelity/divorce as something ‘normal’, sure ppl aren’t perfect but why aren’t these things taken seriously to know that it’s damaging so many relationships and lives. It’s unfair someone cheats on you leaves u miserable and lonely and presently is enjoying life with that someone, and you…well you’re left alone, struggling with answering ppl why someone left you and why you couldn’t work harder to make things work.
My question is with the media and almost half the world accepting divorce, cheering on for couples that have cheated on their previous partners… isn’t this actually a reflection of the beliefs and values of ppl today (atleast most ppl). I just want individual opinions…thanks
Agree completely, and unfortunately it cheapens what marriage really is.
That’s why it’s so very important to find the right person and not get married to the wrong one. Easier said than done (I know from personal experience) and divorce is emotionally devastating, but unfortunately sometimes bad things happen to good people even with the best of intentions. Hopefully we learn and move on, and place a greater value on what it means to be marriage in the future.
