My boyfriend of three years just admitted to cheating on me. I broke up with him on this last Friday. It has been really hard so far and its only been 3 days.
I definitely don’t ever want to get back together with him, but I feel so angry and sad. He has been texting me since then saying sorry, but today he has not called or texted at all.
I keep thinking he is probably with her. It makes me sick and gives me a weird feeling. I can barely eat and sometimes it feels hard just to breath.
He was verbally abusive to me also; he would disguise his abuse by saying he was joking. But even with all this I still feel so horrible. This is the biggest betrayal I have ever had in my life.
How long is this pain gonna last? How long did it take you to get over it and what did you do to help yourself?
Well it wouldn’t have been good in the long term. You must know this. You are missing what you THOUGHT it would be. Happens in every breakup.
The pain will last until you meet someone else. Simple. Get out there.
