Infidelity Questions And Answers
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011A question on ‘infidelity.’ Does the desire for sex itself play an equally influential role in motivating?
infidelity among men and women; how would you see this from a Christian point, what answers are there?
Men may be more likely to commit infidelity from a desire for sexual excitement. Women I would think would be more likely to commit infidelity for emotional reasons, seeking love that they do not feel they are getting from their husbands.
I am only guessing about that, and I’m sure there are exceptions.
I have observed a lot of married women though in my workplace who seem to get too friendly with male coworkers. They share intimate details of their married life, even discussing bedroom topics. Then they seem surprised when the man they have shared all this with takes that as an encouragement to make a pass. I think that such a situation qualifies as Emotional Infidelity, even when the woman claims she never had any intention of having a physical relationship outside of marriage.
I don’t mean to pick on my own sex. These are just things I have observed.
