Ideas on how to keep my family?
My wife and I separated about 8 months ago, we separated because we were fighting and not getting along, there was no infidelity, we have three little boys together, I want to stay together and be a family, her mother recently went into a nursing home and gave her her home, so she has a house that is paid off, she told me today that she is happy the way things are she also told me that she likes that I help out so much but she is not attracted to me at all anymore and considers me a good friend, I was floored, actually broken hearted, I really don’t know what to do, she said that she is fine with me dating and said that we just need to be good parents to the boys. I feel that now she is all set she doesn’t need me and the hell with the marriage, any ideas on what to do???
Well, your wife has made it clear that she’s done, so there isn’t much to do here other than accept that your marriage is over and move on. It will take some time and effort, but that’s the answer.
