Will you lie so as not to hurt anybody?
For example, knowing the infidelity of a friends’ mate, will you lie knowing it just not to hurt her/him? Or just lying just to make a story short?
I would confront the offending person.Stating they had put me in a terribly uncomfortable position. Then ask them to tell their spouse the truth. However I would motivate them by explaining if they didn’t I would.
